Friday Facts - SPFL Trust Final 2021-2022

The SPFL Trust Trophy takes place this Sunday the 3rd of April, kicking off at 16:15 taking place at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie. This is the third time that the final has taken place at this stadium. The teams contesting the final; Raith Rovers & Queen of the South are both previous winners and Raith Rovers are the joint current champions, having been awarded the trophy on a joint basis with Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

This competition didn’t take place last year due to COVID-19 implications.

50 teams entered the competition in the first round and now it’s down to the last two in the competition.
