SPFL CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW SEASON 2022/2023
After last seasons Championship almost going down to the wire this season is shaping up for another season of the same. Cove Rangers FC are competing at this level for the first time in their history and Queen’s Park are competing at this level for the first time since going professional. Dundee has come back down to the Championship after one season back in the top flight. They are joined by the seven teams that have stayed in the league.
The Championship again has the potential to provide great excitement. The three new teams coming into the league will prove to be a great asset to the league and will challenge the clubs already in the division. Dundee have experience winning the second tier and gaining promotion to the top flight. Cove Rangers have been on a meteoric rise from the Highland League to this level. Queen’s Park dug deep to win the play off’s and become only the second team finishing fourth in League One to win the play off’s.
We think the league will finish as follows;
Inverness Caledonian Thistle
Dundee
Arbroath
Raith Rovers
Partick Thistle
Ayr United
Greenock Morton
Cove Rangers
Hamilton
Queen’s Park
However the league does finish we are looking forward to following it and reporting on it as we go.
